The Portulacaria Afra or “Elephant Bush” is an easy to maintain succulent shrub with reddish-brown stems that produce small glossy bright green leaves. It is drought-tolerant, loves bright sun and can grow very tall, if given the proper vertical support. The Elephant bush can make beautiful natural fence. Pos sold separately.
Water Tolerance: Water once or twice a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings.
Soil: Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed during the growing season (spring) by adding new soil. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2 -3 years
